Goat Milk Soap Unscented

Goat Milk soap is probably my favorite soap. I just love the way my skin feels after bathing in it.

When preparing any soap that contains milk it is important to ice the milk 1st. If you add lye to room temperature or refrigerated milk, the lye will heat the milk up too much causing it to scorch and smell bad. If the milk scorches the solution will have a dark yellow color. The smell will stay in your soap for up to 10 days. The smell is not pleasant at all. It has an ammonia mixed with rotten milk smell.

To prepare this soap I used

Olive Oil
Coconut Oil
Canola Oil
Sunflower Oil
Lye
Goat Milk
